Termination Mold for 6 - 6.5 mm Cables

Use this silicone Termination Mold along with the Cobalt Series Cable Termination Kit to make a professional-looking potted termination on your cable.  This mold works for any cable with a diameter of 6 - 6.5 mm (including Blue Robotics T200 thruster cables).  It is compatible with the Regular (not Large) size of Cobalt Series Cable Termination Kit.

To use the mold, slide it onto the cable before terminating the cable.  Then push the mold onto the end of the connector shell and inject with epoxy.  You can either inject the epoxy using a needle that slides under the lip of the mold, or you can use a sharp needle pushed through the mold.  Inject the epoxy until it completely fills the mold and runs out from under the lip of the mold (because the mold is transparent, you will see it filling with epoxy).  Then remove the needle and clean off any excess epoxy.  Once the epoxy has cured, carefully cut the mold off with wire cutters and discard it.
